Of love and money: the business of Valentine's day
Valentine's Day in the 19th century became an opportunity for love and consumption to form a perfect combination. The lovers celebrate their love, and the shops celebrated their sales of cards, flowers. sweets, etcetera. In another place are the dinners, go to hotels, plan small escapades.
